We would have interviewed at least a month earlier when NVC sent the case over but the Justice Record had not arrived in time. My fiance only needed to create profile online, pay fee at post office, get health check at IOM and no vaccinations. So you could practically interview after you get the sealed health records if you already have the justice record #2 in hand (no need for translation).

Arrived around 7:30AM for 8AM appointment on June 3rd with an already long line. We lined up outside for security check at the back door labeled "Visas or Thi Thuc" and an EMS post service greeter checked the appointment sheet and passport and only asked for one photo. We continued to the line inside and another greeter gave a blank form for mailing the visa back (you should keep this form in case you have to add documents later to get final decision after the interview date). Continued onto security and we said we were together so showed both passports.

Once inside,... read complete review

It took me a long time to wait until my turn to be interviewed, it did not bother me too much because there were like 300 people on that day. They had a technique to make you feel like "I'm not waiting until my turn"; they call the number NOT in order..lol
The officer was great, he checked and re-arranged my documents, asked me a few general questions and gave me a number. The interviewer was nice, he raised one hand and asked me to say the truth, I thought he wanted to do hi-five with me, but I quickly realized that fortunately..lol..he just asked me like 5 questions about our relationships and approved my case. That was super quick (compared to the time I had to wait), it was worthy.
They also provided a delivery service so that you can get your visa at home in like a week.
