The consul asked my fiancee how we met, whether she has met my parents, what I do for living and evidence of relationship (pictures). Overall the questions went smooth and only took about 5 minutes but due to wait inside of the consulate, she came out after an hour and half.

The IO was extremely friendly. He asked me general questions about my husband, and me. I was very nervous about the interview, and was expecting a lot of questions about our relationship, but the interview itself was very easy. It's all about the documents that we should send to the NVC. If all required documents are complete, then the rest experience will be smooth.

Very friendly. Asked about fiance, what he does for living, how long we were together, and when planning to go to US?
Asked for original I-134 and copies of IRS transcripts during first interview. quick replies to email, but get hold of them on the phone is almost impossible to me, maybe different for others.
Visa was ready for pick up in two days after the second interview which was a week later from the first interview.
Gave back the photos to the beneficiary that were sent to USCIS as well. Good Luck

arrived at embassy early in morning - many waiting. Called for interview - very easy questions - how did you meet, where does he live, what does he do for a living, how many times has he come to see you. Very friendly and respectful. No apparent issues, except 1 document on custody of son was not translated into English. Now, we have to wait for her to go back October 15th to submit translation. we were supposed to come home together (I am leaving tomorrow and was bringing her back oct. 2), but had to rebook her flight for 10/19. Very worried as everything expires 10/24. Overall not a bad experience for her.

The appointment was for 8:00. She got there and had to go through security, which involves leaving everything but documents and cash (no phone, no handbag, etc).
She goes to the cashiers -- one for the visa: $240; and one for the medical exam: $180. Exact change only please, and of course US currency.
Sits for about two hours, and is then called for the interview. Speaks with a man who gives the the option of interviewing in English or Russian. She chooses Russian, and then regrets it as the man's Russian is poor. Most of the questions were simple and about her USA fiance: where does he live, what does he do, how many brothers and sisters, etc. No real problems. She passes without issue.
The visa is approved and she will have to leave her passport and return for it in two days.
