My interview was scheduled for 10am on November 5th. I took the train to B
Vauxhall and walked to the embassy (about 15min walk.) I arrived at the entrance at 9.42 and went through security. They asked for my embassy letter and passport. In the building I was stopped by the receptionist, she asked for the same documents and gave me my ticket number. I took the elevator to the first floor and took a left. Immediately upon arriving to the visa window my ticket number showed. The man asked for documents - passport photo, birth cert, acro, affidavit of support, and tax returns. Then I sat down for roughly 10 minutes and was called to have the interview. I met a very friendly american man who took my finger prints and asked me 6 or 7 questions. All very easy to answer if you have a bonafide relationship. I was approved on the spot and that my passport should be returned within a week. It arrived on day 10.

Interview was scheduled for 11am but arrived very early at 10.20am but they said it was fine and went through security and got my ticket number.
Eventually got called to the first window to hand over my documents around 11am they asked for the following documents:
* Birth certificate
* Marriage certificate
* Police records
* Wife's divorce certificate
* Passport
* 1 Passport photo
Around 11.25am was called up for a second time and was only asked 1 question:
*How did you and your wife meet?
Answered and the lady approved it there and then.

The process was unbelievably straight forward. I arrived at the Embassy and after firstly joining the wrong queue (my bad), I went straight in. Did the airport security stuff etc then went to the main building.Â
My ticket was called as soon as i arrived to the windows. I spoke to the first officer and they checked my documents. The only documents he needed were Passport, Photographs, IV Letter, Birth Certificate and Police Record. My dad had already uploaded a new AOS and Tax Return to the CEAC website, i brought copies of everything else with me but they didnt ask for them. Then i sat back down and waited for about another 10 minutes for the second part of the interview. The lady I spoke to at the 2nd window asked me to swear an oath to tell the truth etc then asked me a few questions about myself and the petitioner. And that was it, all done! The lady told me that my passport would be back with me in a few weeks via courier and then im good to go! ... read complete review

Super easy process.
Straightforward if you have everything they ask for on the list.
Showed varying papers to 4 people. Once to get in, once to get given a time for interview, once for them all to be checked over and finally by the interviewer.
3 questions: what does my spouse do? where did we meet? who is my sponsor?
Was not a problem that they were still waiting on my medical results.
So happy to be all approved after 18 months of waiting :D

I was previously assigned to the embassy in Bogota, Colombia but successfully completed my transfer to London in June. Before the interview happened, I received an email to re-upload my documents to the CEAC portal. I did this and then I received a second email stating that they still weren't able to view them. I was then asked to send them via email, so I sent them through thinking that would be enough.
I arrived at the embassy about half an hour early at 8:30am and queued for about 30 minutes for my 9:00am interview. After handing over your DS-260 page and passport for a check at the door, you go through the heavy security. Don't bring a laptop as you're not allowed to take them inside.
I passed through and went to the 1st floor (2nd in America) to wait for the document screening and subsequent interview. My number flashed up and I headed to the booth to have my documents confirmed by a gentleman in the booth. He had to do some work on his end as my DS-2... read complete review
