So here goes: My interview was at 9am, got there at 815am, queue was massive, got through all the checks and got my number I913 at 858am.
Then the wait began after 45 mins my number was called, the guy was nice, he asked for Birth Certificate, Police Report, I 134 and I 134 for co sponsor. Only wanted W2 and 1040's. Also asked for Ds 230 Part 2, my fiances Birth certificate. Took fingerprints, gave me my xray and pink slip and told me to go to sit down.
I waited about 30 mins and i was called for interview, i swore an oath, checked fingerprints, asked where i would be living? When was i getting married? Have i sent the invites? I signed DS 156 k then i was done, APPROVED
INTERVIEW WAS 5 MINUTES. Queued to pay courier then i was out at 1045am.

My appointment was set for 10am, i woke up at stupid o'clock after going to sleep at stupider o'clock...arrived at the embassy at 8.45am - the queue was already ridiculous. It felt like i queued for ages but turned out to be just under 30 mins. The security people working the queue were very friendly, checking we had the mrv and passports, giving out baggies for belts loose change etc reminding us not to carry any electronics and advising on the closest places to store things.
As i neared the front of the line i saw a notice saying that everyone should have available for inspection: MRV, Passport, Letter of appointment and a DS-160 Confirmation. Of course i had a lot of forms and paperwork with me, but no DS-160 Confirmation when i asked about it he looked at my letter and said the DS-160 wasnt applicable for me, so i assume that would be for non-imigrant visa's.

A very pleasent experience. The security was very very tight and they were just putting in new security bunkers. Overall it was a hurry up and wait. Being told 3 times to sit and wait and then finally dealing with me. Not a kid friendlyb place though.

Overall my husband's interview was a good experience. We got there early, went through security and waited for a while before we were called to the first window. I was nervous about the proof of domicile for the I-864 since I had not looked for employment or houses in the US yet. I took a supporting I-864 form from my mother just in case but we did not need it in the end. They asked my husband what job he worked in and they accepted a copy of the notice letter I sent to my employer as my proof of domicile. Otherwise the woman just asked general chit-chat questions while she checked the rest of the paperwork. Then we paid the visa fees around the corner and waited to be called by the immigration officer. He was a laid-back bloke who asked how we met and what my husband did for work. Then he said that he had checked through all of the paperwork and it looked good so he was going to approve us! My husband had to say an oath and then that was it! Our interview was borderline culturally inappropriate and I don't think our visa officer knew anything about Islam or anything about the culture of the Middle East. She said comments such as "weren't you a little too old to study in a madrasa" referring to those horrid images on telly with little kids reciting the Qu'ran back and forth and didn't even think about the fact that my husband (fiance at the time) studied in a highly reputable Islamic seminary in Iran, called a madrasa from the Arabic word, but NOT at all like the ones she was referring to. Also, she didn't seem to believe that my husband learned theology, philosophy, science and arts in the madrasa. She even asked whether we shared a "bed" which in his eyes was totally inappropriate. Anyways, she finally approved us but it our interview was like walking on egg shells, she questioned and refuted each and every answer and turned everything around which was difficult for him to answer since English is not his first language.... read complete review
