We were really nervous about our interview as I had read all kinds of things about what to expect. Don't even smile I was told. We went in gave all our papers at the first window. Sat down and in about 30 minutes were called back up to the window. The man was casually dressed, smiling and it seemed the Visa was already approved. He asked my Fiancé 4 questions and said take your originals and your visa will be at your house in less than a week! Everything happened from start to finish in 9 weeks! Headed to America in two days!! Thank the Lord for everything.

I traveled to Kiev to attend the medical and interview. We scheduled the medical on Tuesday and the Interview for Wednesday.
The medical was scheduled for 9:30am, the address is a little tricky to find as it is not street facing, you have to go through a tunnel under a building and it is in the back, I recommend taking a taxi there. Even our taxi driver got lost, we took a long ride around it. You have to stand around outside and wait for someone to come to the locked door, once they find the beneficiary on the list they let them in. I would not recommend going to the medical if you are not the beneficiary because they will make you stay outside, if the weather is bad, you could be in for a miserable wait, up to 3 hours. Luckily for me it was a nice day. After the medical, you come back at 3pm and get a sealed envelope with your results, which you then take to the interview with you.
Our Interview was scheduled for the next day, 8:30am. The consulate is really not n... read complete review

I spoke with Natalia right after her interview at the Embassy in Kiev. Pretty straight forward for waiting in line, getting admitted and submitting the paperwork for review. It was a bit busy and the wait was a little longer than most that I have read about, but once called to be interviewed, the officer only asked a few questions, How did we meet, when was i in Ukraine, how many times was i in the country and did she know what her rights were once she was in the USA.
He then congratulated her and stated her visa and passport would be delivered in about 5 days. Natalia said the total time from arrival to the interview was about 2 1/2 hours.,, interview itself was less than 10 minutes.

The embassy officer stated that he needed 2 photos to complete the process. The instructions i had stated only one photo was required for the embassy interview. Luckily she had made an extra photo.. For a total of six photos. 4 for the medical process and 2... read complete review

My fiance had here interview today and the CO was very respectful and friendly. Made her feel comfortable. Did not ask a lot of questions. Overall, my fiance said the experience was very good, and felt much relieved during the interview thanks to the CO's being patient and respectful.

My fiancée said that it was very quick and easy, even though she was very nervous. They asked her about 6 questions and told her she was approved. (Very general questions) She said the longest part of the whole process was waiting.
