My interview in Kyiv was very easy 09,06,2017. My case was ready 12,05,2017
I got my medical exam 06,06,2017.
My appointment was at 8 a.m. I arrived around 7,20 a.m.
At 7,40 a.m. they allowed us go inside. I showed only my passport.
1) First I gave ALL required documents that I have with me. And they ask me some questions.
They were checking my case around 20 minutes
2) Interview was so good.
I got few simple question like "How did you met him", "When did he visited you", "Do you know him before tourist visa", "Have you visited him with tourist visa and how many times", "How do your parents like him", "What language, how your parents communicate with him"
And at the end he returned me my documents and told
"EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD. YOUR VISA IS APPROVED".

Interview was scheduled at 8 am on October 17th.
Arrived at 7:15, was the first in the line. They started to let us in about 7:45.
And by 8.30 I've finished.
At first very pleasant and nice woman took my fingerprints and all necessary supporting documents. No specific questions except for did I ever changed my last name, do I have children, was I married.
Afterwards about 15 minutes of waiting for an interview itself.
Interview with consul took about 5 minutes, 5 quick questions and done.
I was asked how and when we've met, when we saw each other last time and couple of questions about my brother cause he lives in USA.
Very nice and pleasant embassy workers. Appreciate their attitude specially taking into account the pressure applicants are going through.

The process was very easy. The security clearance took the longest, all the security guards were very nice and friendly. My wife talked to a man before her interview, where he explained the rest of the process in detail and asked what time my wife would be finally coming to the US. Finally moved onto the interview portion. We used CEAC processing so all documents were submitted electronically. My wife brought physical copies of original documents as well as copies, they asked to look at NONE of them (only her passport), they did have a question about an additional set of documents uploaded (which were just pay stubs showing proof of income which were not required). The woman asked the basic questions; what does your husband do for work? how did you meet? where do you intend on living? were both parents present at your wedding? how many times have you met in person? (She was typing looking at her computer screen while asking the questions). The woman then informed my wife that th... read complete review

I went to be with her for the interview, they seemed to get us in a fairly efficient manner, the interview (Aug 25th) seemed to be straight forward for about 15 minutes. (All in Ukrainian so I understood nothing) I had hoped we would get the Visa's for her and her daughter in a day or so, but ended up burning the whole week of VC waiting, then left the very next day of when we got it (Sep 1), 7 days after approval and arrived at DFW on 2nd.
