My fiancée just went thru her interview (9/18). We were IMBRA’d and I answered “yes” to the marriage broker question. My answer was never brought up during the interview.
All went well.
She arrived on time, had her purse and cell phone taken, waited a short time, a lady went over her paper work to check completeness, the lady asked a few factual questions, a second short wait, met with interviewer and Russian translator, chatted about where she would live, if she wanted to work or stay at home, how we would overcome language difference, and about raising her son in the USA.
She passed the interview and was escorted thru the processes of paying for the visa and shipping the completed visa to her home.
Very pleasant experience, very friendly.

I would have to concur with the other reviewers, the embassy in Ukraine is excellent and really on top of their game. I have found them to be very responsive and helpful. My fiancee had no problems with them. Good luck with your case.

Do it! The staff is Super! The website is mostly user friendly. And email is quickly responded to and the imformation is complete.

Kiev embassy is easy to deal with, had no problems and this was my second K1 in 2 years...
She even screwed up and opened up the envelope you aren't supposed to open and the consulate sealed it again without a problem.
