Very easy process. Showed up at 8:30am. There were several people waiting for tourist visas in line. I showed the guard my US passport and he waived us to the front of the line. Insisde they put us through the metal detectors and searched our things. You are only allowed a cell phone and your documents inside. Once inside we were sent to an area for immigrant visa which was nice because we did not need to wait with all the people wanting tourist visas. We turned in our documents at the window and took a seat. Katya was fingerprinted. We waited 2 hours and were called to the window. I was asked to show my passport and thanked for coming. The interview lasted 5 minutes. She was asked about my family, job, address and if she was associated with any marriage agencies. She was asked if she studied english and if we intended to be married in 90 days. That was it. We recieved a pink slip and proceeded to the Fedex tent to pay for delivery of visa. The visa arrived 2 days later.... read complete review

THe process was less than two hours. The questions asked were simple. SHe was asked, "Where does he live (city and state)?" "Where does he work and what type of work does he do." "How many times did you meet and when?" The visa was approved. We will be together again in less than two weeks

We arrived early for our 0900 appointment and had to wait outside for a some time. At exactly 9am we were let in ahead of the others in line. Then we were directed to the immigrant section of the Embassy where they took all of the required documents and finger printed Julia. The actual interview took less than 5 minutes. They asked her a couple questions about how we met, how many times I came to see her, and about a previous marriage. Our total time inside the Embassy was 90 minutes. This was more a document check than anything else and Overall a good experience. The hardest thing was waiting 5 days in kiev between the medical and the interview. The weather in early November was much colder than normal with highs in the 20s with windy conditions.

Oksana, says that they arrived early at the gate and entered easily for her 9 am interview. They took her documents and finger printed her and her daughter. They then sat until 11:30, but the time passed quickly as they were speaking with other fiance's there including JimnLena's Lena.
They then were called up and interviewed by a friendly woman who spoke to them in Russian. The only questions they were asked was what state and city I live, and when Oksana told her Nebraska, the woman smiled and asked her if she knew it got cold here. She also asked if Oksana spoke english and Oksana told her that she was learning but was not fluent.
The woman then smiled and told them that they had passed and gave them their pink slips.
