Consulate review as described to me:

Natali arrived at consulate at 0800 and was allowed in immediately. She presented all paperwork and then waited with 10 other people to be called for interview. I told her to be prepared for a long wait but she was called in 1 hour for the interview. She said that I sent more documentation than necessary but the consular officer complemented her on the detail and organization of the package. Always better to have too much than not enough detail. The consular officer only needed half of the information to conduct the interview. Natali was asked the same standard questions:

1. Where do I (petitioner) live? What city?
2. What company do I work for?
3. What is my job?
4. How we met? Did we use an agency?
5. When was our last meeting?
6. Do we have wedding plans?
7. When will she be departing to come to the US?

After answering all questions satisfactorily, the consular... read complete review

As relayed to me by my fiancee:

Process was very simple, but the wait was long. She arrived at 09:00am for her appt, but sat in a room with 3 other people for almost 2 hours. The Consular Officer finally invited her back to a room (her mother was with her, but she couldnt join) to have the interview. He looked over the paperwork, didnt really care about the "relationship evidence" and asked a few questions while he verified all the documentation was complete.

She specifically remembers being asked:
1) Where do I (petitioner) live?
2) What company do I work for?
3) What is my job?
4) How we met?
5) When was our last meeting?
6) Do we have wedding plans?

Then he approved the visa and directed her to make payments and wished her luck. Very easy.

We showed up on time and we were let in front of the line. We had a lot of paperwork and when we were called to the window, the nice lady helped us turn in the right documents. We were called for the interview about 2 hours after arriving and we were approved. It was very easy.
