All was very smooth and easy. Documents were collected and then a brief interview was conducted after a short wait. Very friendly. Asked a few standard questions about the relationship and quickly brushed on rights in the USA. Looked over some of our newer photos with a smile. Approval notice was given at the end. Front-loading the petition seemed to help greatly.

The Embassy was easy. With being there and her speaking English, it was a breeze. Me being there was enough for them to not concentrate on income or relationship depth. It was casual.
Had she not been sick the month before then we would have had the health certificate for the interview. So since there was the smallest of spots, that the doctor thought was the reminiscence of pneumonia, but per protocol we had to wait the 8 weeks for the results, which we final got today which was clear.
The embassy told us, we where approved on 4/19 but they had to wait for the health report so now 6/29 we have to wait for the results to be delivered on 6/30 to the embassy.

My wife said it was easy and only about 5 minutes. Only asked a few questions and approved her. My step daughter was only asked if she spoke English.

I must say that our experience at the consulate was very positive. I would have to give 5 thumbs up! Everyone that we encountered was very polite and our case was handled in a professional manner. The interview took all of 5 minutes until we heard "visa approved"
