Awesome experience.
It took about 15 minutes of waiting to have my docs taken, then about 15 minuets before I was called to the interview.
The interview was in English even though all the people before me had it in Ukrainian. 2 questions:
- how have you met?
- has he visited you in Ukraine?
That’s it, said everything was in order and that my visa was approved.
The most easy step and I was waaaay to worried about it than I should have.

I was really the easiest and the most quickly part of all this hard way to visa K1.
Officer asked a few questions: how long we know each other? Did I read oath and what I read? Where is my fiancé work now? And the next was: its ok, you can be free ))and he gave me paper: “ your visa is approvedâ€
I started cry because happiness, nervousness and emotions was mixed in one day!

Arrived 7:50am for 8am appointment. Documents reviewed at 8:15am. Interview at 9:05 am that lasted about 5 minutes. Interviewer spoke politely to both of us in fluent Ukrainian and English. My fiancée was very nervous but everything went smoothly. She started crying as we left. I’m sure security thought we had been denied so I said, “she’s happy not sad!â€
