this is all told to me from my fiancee....
she left her things in her room because she had to stay the night on the previous day because she had to get her police certificate from the Moldovan embassy, and she also scouted the embassy location and chatted with some of the guards
She said the consular officers (she ended up speaking with 2 of them) were polite and professional, the first one asked her questions she was not expecting about her daughter's father and about our sex life, which I suppose is ok because I had only been able to go to Ukraine once. She was then directed to speak with another consular officer who let her speak less formally and let her just speak about us, and she said he started smiling when she was talking about how she met my mom on videochat a few times and my dog. After this conversation, she said it was a very easy approval. She had nothing bad to say about anyone in the embassy, they were all very nice to her and very helpful even t... read complete review

So my fiancé had her K1 interview in Kiev. She said that her interview lasted
About 7 minutes. The interviewer (a male) asked: how did we meet, how did i propose, asked about my fiancé’s ring, asked when I (petitioner) came to US.
I am also Originally from Ukraine. Asked about my criminal history. (Petitioners).
He went through all of our photos. We provided about 20-25. Some from my first trip to Kiev. Some from my second trip. Bunch from our recent Portugal vacation. And some screen shots of conversations on Instagram or Viber. I hand Wrote on each photo a short message about what the photo depicts. Overall the interview went well. Interviewer was asking basic questions and in a non interrogation tone. I had My fiancé pack my financial packet into a transparent folder. I make Above the necessary amount so i did Not include any bank statement or any kind of proof of asset documentation. I provided my recent W2. My last 14 bi weekly pay stubs (an... read complete review

The interview was quick. It was at 8am so I got to the embassy around 7:40am. Before the interview, someone came out and told us we needed to prepare our passport and DS 160. They checked us for electronics and gave us numbers in the order we would go in to interview. There were a lot of people in this day, most for non-immigrant visas. I just happened to be the first! When they called me to the window, I gave them my documents and they got my fingerprints. After a few minutes I was called in to the interview. She asked me about us, where and how we met, how long we have known each other. She asked why and how long he was in Ukraine. She asked about his job but didn't ask anything about him sending money or rings etc. I was approved and she told me I would receive the visa in about 5 working days. The interview was super easy and the whole process was over at around 8:40am! javascript:emoticon('')

Our K1/K2 interview in Kiev was absolutely a breeze, probably due to my fiance being present. Scheduled for 8 AM, in at 7:45 and out at 9:15. Our petition was very heavily front-loaded with 4 visits over 16 months. We were called the second after a lady whose visa was approved. The CO was very friendly and asked just a few formal questions, obviously looking at how we responded and not in search of any new information. He started the interview in Russian and soon switched to English as we responded in English (we both are Russian speaking originally). He smiled and joked, obviously he was satisfied with the information he could gather from the original petition and seemed not to be interested in the evidence we collated for the interview. The interview was less of a questioning but more like a discussion, my fiance made supportive remarks and was also asked a few questions. The CO gave us an approval slip, congratulated us and wished us a good day. Indeed, the interview was the easiest... read complete review
