I was pleasantly surprised to see that the officers were all very kind. Even when some applicants were having a hard time answering questions due to nerves, or language barriers, they were met with understanding and a helpful attitude by the officers at the interview windows. Everything was clearly organized and there was no chaos inside. The officer that conducted my interview was also friendly and kind. Things went smoothly and much quicker than I had expected.

My fiancé' stated that the consular officer was super nice. The interview was a two part. They first take all your evidence and all supporting documents, then once they have been reviewed, then you have an oral interview.

His interview was complete and he exited around 9:15AM. No bags, phones, electrical devices of any kind were allowed in with him. I held onto all of his stuff. He just carried his required documents. He told me they were very friendly inside. He used a translator (he chose to do his interview in Turkish). Both the officer and the translator asked him questions. Some questions asked were:
When did we meet?
How long were we together?
Have either of us been married before?
Where are we going to Marry and when?
They also asked him about his time he spent in Spain and also about a person he named on a prior DS160 from a few years ago.
At the end they told him he was approved and a few hours later it showed approved on the website. Overall was a good... read complete review
