We arrived at the Consulate at 6 am even though our appointment was at 8:30. There was only a police officer guarding the gate and he told us there is no need to wait there, since they don't really form a line. He said it was fine to get there 5 of 8 and we should be fine. There is a pastry shop across the street that had served breakfast and we spent some time there. When we cam back to the gate, we realized there was a line formed already but once the gate was open, the attendant split the line and told non-immigrants to go across the gate and wait. He collected the passports from us and went back inside.
I told him that I wanted to be allowed in with my fiance but he said If I he had "plus 1 " noted by his name (my fiance) then I can go in. I have e-mailed the consulate ahead of time for permission but they have not returned a reply. Even though I tried to be pushy, I was not allowed.

WE WERE APPROVED!! It is 3:45 am my time, but I was too excited to go to sleep so I decided to come here to do a quick report.
Appointment was at 10 am, but he arrived at 8 am. His interviewer had our entire package and my husband noticed that the CO had already written "approved" on our petition.
CO asked where we met, how long we were together before we were married and asked him what did I do on the ship all of those months while he was working. He liked his CO. The only bump we had was when the CO told my husband that he could not accept the W2 that he printed out because the ink was low, but that it was alright because a copy was already included in the package. The entire interview took about 5 minutes.
As a side note, the CO wrote a note on our package that said to cancel his B2 visa and issue the I551 (or something like that).

At the beginning of all a lawyer told me that the case could take 3 to 5 months to finished, but the truth was other one. I sent to the USCIS twice the I-130 case. The 1st time was rejected just bcz the address in Puerto Rico was in the order they wont it. By that, the case delayed one month and half when I received the notification bcz they cut part of my address.
At the 2nd time, I searched an immigration program from my county government and they filled correctly. The case took 3 and half months to be accepted.
I thought that the was concluded when I read careful the notification.
So... the process in the NVC was initiated and I didn't know what to do in that moment. The only resource that I found was VJ and was asking to the same members how to get information about the complete process bcz here exist so much forums and topics that sometimes confused me. But I got it...
We request an EXPEDITE to the USCIS and they response that they cant do anything in t... read complete review
