took the documents first and she had to wait for 4 hours before the called her number... they asked very basic questions such as what is your fiancee's job, how long do you know each other and what do you do for living... they asked for additional proof of relationship even though that we had submitted lot of documents... she gave them additional Skype and phone records and they approved her visa... over all the experience was pleasant and they were very friendly javascript:emoticon(' ')

Same sex couple here.
People are very very friendly.
10 minutes after I entered the waiting room, I was called to submit the medical results. And then after waiting for about 2 hours I was called for the interview.
The CO was very sweet and She was talking almost like a friend. She told me how pleased she was with the way how my file was orginized.
I was aked the following questions.
-How did you meet your fiance?
-What do their parents think of you?
-Are your parents coming to the wedding?
-Where do you plan to live ?
And she gave me a handout explaining my rights as a K-1 holder. And said I was approved!
2 hours waiting time and 5 minutes interview.

My fiance had his interview on Oct. 6 at 8:30 a.m. He arrived at 8 a.m. and there was already a packed waiting room. He waited around 2 hours until his number was called. The whole interview lasted around 5-10 minutes. They asked general questions about me (where was I from, were did I work, was I a student) and a little bit about himself.
All in all, my fiance said it wasn't too bad and he felt relaxed during the process. He was told at the end of the interview that he'd been approved and given a pamphlet saying he would receive his Visa in 5-7 days. So far, things seem to be on track for him receiving his Visa by the end of this week or early next week.

I had a very good experience at my interview. It took about fifteen minutes, and I was informed that I had been approved.
