They originally scheduled us for a interview on August 1. However they canceled the interview and after several weeks of waiting rescheduled it to August 18.
The interview was scheduled at 8am. She got there before the opened the doors at 7:30am. She finished everything at 11:30. Lots of waiting.
When they asked her if she could speed English and if she wanted the interview in English she said yes. The lady working Window 5 said that was a good choice as the American interviewers are nicer (Which mirrors what I've read on this site).
Questions Asked:
- How did we meet?
- What did we do the first time we saw each other?
- How long after the first time until we met again?
- How long did I stay the second time?
- How many times have I come?
- How do we talk to each other?
- When did I first discuss marriage?
- When did she accept?
- When did I last visit?

Hi everyone.
I was talking to my fiance and we agreed that since I went to the interview by myself so I should be the one who put the review here.
My interview schedule was at 8.00 am, however I arrived at about 6.30 am. After waiting in the line for about 15 minues. I was in the gate, I left my cell phone with the guards and got my purse and my document bag scanned. I went through the small bridge and went in the line. For less than 5 minues, I heard the voice from the speaker that the immigrant visa and fiance visa to submit the document at window 5.
The consulate asked me these questions;
1. Do you plan to get married?
2. When did you meet your fiance?
3. And he came to visit you again?
For my point of view, I would like to say that I was pleased with everything. The lady at window 5 was nice and informative. She worked very quicky and accurately.
However, I did not get the visa right th... read complete review

At the interview, my fiancee was challenged about why she didn't know exactly how many times I've been to Thailand. Given that I've made the trip maybe 30 times in the past 50 years for business, I didn't know the exact number myself. Finally, gave her a tentative thumbs up except requested she get a document from the local offical of her home town that she had never been married before, presumably because she has a daughter but the relationship with the father was never registered. Had to scramble with that and took them a week to get the visa afterwards. In fact, said they'd call us when it was ready but should be ready by 6/6 at the latest. Didn't hear anything and we were getting antsy by the morning of Friday 6/6, since we had tickets to fly out Saturday 6/7, so just showed up at the embassy. The immigration agent (a Thai man) said he was supposed to have issued the visa that morning but "made a mistake and didn't get to it". I told him it had been promised to us by Friday and we ... read complete review

Oey had her interview on 6/17. The interview itself was painless except for one snag. The doctor accidentally checked the wrong box and declared she had TB or something. She went back to the doctor and he fixed the error. She will need to resubmit the medical on Monday.

First thing she said was that the visa website she uses posted that she will not need to get a queue number, but after waiting for a while she realized that she would need one of these. After they separated the tourist from the immigration individuals she went to window 5 to check the documentation. They said everything was ok with the documents. She was worried because the information I provided had two holes (on her site they said you can’t put holes in the documents) in the top of the sheets, but they told her not to worry about that, just worry about the police certificate. (Was lost in the mail and a new one is being reissued)
They checked over the provided documents and she said just wrote my name on the DS156K and she was told to have a seat and wait. She began her waiting at around 7:55am and was the last person in the room with the officer called her for the interview at 12:15pm. She said the questions were pretty simple, and tomorrow she will give me t... read complete review
