Arrived at the BKK embassy early (before the embassy opened at 7am) and waited in line with my fiancee. I had expected that although I wasn't going to be with her during the interview, that I would at least be able to wait with her, inside the embassy.. but was told that I was not going to be allowed to enter my own embassy to wait! Thankfully another American was there with his wife, he knew of a food court/coffee shop accross the street so at least I wasn't left outside in the heat and humidity. Koi (my fiancee) had to wait until after 11am before she was finally seen. Interview was conducted entirely in English, and the questions so vague it was difficult for her to understand what they were asking. Because of this and some of our paperwork was not to their liking they sent her home without a visa and asked for additional evidence of relationship,(I guess it doesn't occur to them that I might speak some Thai) along with the corrected documents and as I work as an independent IT... read complete review

Very easy. Interview didn't even last 5 minutes. Just a question or two and then fingerprinting on the machine. Not many people there either. They didn't even ask for the evidences like pictures and mails. They gave me back all our originals (save for police clearance) too. They'll give you a piece of card stating when to pick up your visa. I suggest you prepare for all kinds of questions. But the chances are, you will be asked almost nothing!

Interview was very easy, She said at one point they were joking with each other. She was asked only a few questions. How did we meet? Where was our first meeting? How do we communicate? Where will she live? What company do I work for and what is my position?
She was told her Engish is very good. The interview was done in English.
