My fiancee interviewed this Tuesday and was approved. She went into embassy and a woman checked her packet 3 and told her what was complete and hat was missing. She had to complete one form and then continued on the process.

At the window for the interview, my fiancee gave three notebooks and a few forms to the officer behind the glass. 1--medical clearance 2--photos of our time together in Thailand to prove we were together along with copies of my tickets to Thailand, and 3--msn chatlogs,4--Thai cell phone bills from. 5--police clearance.

the man then looked through the paperwork and asked the following questions:

1. How did you meet your fiance?
2. How many time he visit?
3. How did he find you?
4. How often you chat?
5. He has children?
6. His children to come to Thailand?
7. Do you have children?
8. How often you talk each other?
9. How you contact him?
10.When wa... read complete review

Nid flew to Bangkok several days before her interview and spent the nights at a friend’s house. She hadn’t received her police certificate yet and tried to get a copy the day before her interview with no luck. They told her she might be able to get at 6:30 am the morning of her interview. We discussed the situation over the phone and decided the best course was to skip the certificate and go directly to the embassy.
She arrived at the embassy around 6:30 am for her appointment. There were approximately 40 other people in line for various visas. At 7 am, a staff member came out and brought all the K-1 and K-3 applicants into the embassy. After clearing security, Nid submitted her paperwork at Window 6 and paid her EMS fee of 350 Baht.
Nid was interviewed around 10:30 as there were 3 K-3 and 2 K-1 applicants in front of her.
How did you meet your fiancé? (We were introduced by a mutual friend)
How did your friend know your fiancé?

Kai spent the night before in Bangkok near a sky train station and planned to walk or take a cab from the stop nearest the embassy. She was carrying 5+ lbs. of documents and decided to take a cab from the hotel.
She arrived at 6:15 a.m. For her 7 o'clock appointment. There were about 30 people already in line. Near 7 a.m., the lady in the pink shirt came out to find the K-1 applicants and to bring into the embassy. She was assigned a number two for interview. She waited about an hour and then met with a nice Thai lady at the dreaded window 6. She was asked to fill out a new address sheet and go to a nearby post office located in an embassy building. She paid 350 baht and brought a box for express mail delivery of her passport and new visa.
After turning over her documents at window 6 she went to window 5 for the interview with an American male who spoke very good Thai. Kai had practiced interview questions over and over to be able to ask for an English language interview... read complete review
