The interview was this morning. She was out by 9am. The actual interview lasted about 5 minutes.
The interview was conducted in Thai & English
Questions:
Where did you meet?
What is your job where you met?
How long did you stay together on this trip?
Why did your boyfriend come to Thailand?
How long have you known your boyfriend?
How often do you talk?
Why do you want to marry a man 20 years older?
My girlfriend said it was difficult because she was nervous, and the interviewer was switching between English & Thai. She said she was stuttering a lot. Trying to decide if she should answer in Thai or English.

My fiancee had her interview this morning. She arrived at the Embassy at 7am, and she had her interview at 9am. She said there were a total of 5 people waiting with her for immigration visas, but the line for holiday visas was very long (100+ people).
She said the interview was brief and they only asked a few questions:
1. Where/How did we meet
2. Where do I live
3. Where do I work
4. Does she have any children
5. Do I have any children
6. When did I divorce my ex-wife

Malisa said she was at the window about 5 minutes. The interviewer was polite, spoke English and little Thai. Asked detailed questions about me. Asked how we met and wanted specific name of online agency. Asked how much we communicated. Asked about my daughters. Asked how many times I have visited and if I worked. Here was a tricky one: asked time differential between BKK and Portland. Only snafu had something to do with a barcode on DS 156 or one of the forms. But, it was easily corrected onsite for 500 baht. All-in-all a good interview, nothing negative. Malisa said interviewer was polite. Happy times.

The interview appointment was schedule for 7AM but only got called to be interviewed at 10.30AM. It did not matter whether you came first or last in the waiting line; in the end you were called by some random order (no idea). Before the interview, all the documents were given but no house registration as i was not informed to bring it. Called again to another window to verfify date of departure and arrival of other countries from passport stamps.
The interview was in English and I was not asked if I would prefer Thai or English. Anyway, the interview questions were typical such as:
- When did we meet?
- How did we meet? (asked for details)
- My previous trips to the US with different visas, what were the purposes of those?
- Why do I wanna marry him??? (This can be a lil tricky)
- What is his job/ what is my job? why do I wanna leave my work here?
- When did he become US citizen? (Quite unexpected)
