Yesterday (February 1st), my wife has her interview at the Bangkok embassy. I came over to Thailand to support her, we went to the embassy together about 2 hours before her scheduled interview time.
She was allowed in early, and I waited outside. Seeing many people leaving the embassy with a 221g and unhappy faces all over I started to get worried, but an hour after the scheduled time, my wife came out with the biggest grin I ever say on het face .
She told me that the male interviewer at window 5 asked only 3 questions, where was I born, where was 1 of our pictures taken and do we have a child together (not yet). The 6kg of neatly organized papers were never even looked at or requested, they said that sufficient documents were already sent to NVC which forwarded them to the embassy.

My husband arrived at 7:30 in front of the embassy for an interview at 8. He was able to enter at 8 after waiting in the queue. Entered around 8:10 and reached the first window. Scanned fingerprints at first window. CO asked to see all original documents and gave him a slip to pay $325 at another window.
Paid, returned to Window 1 and CO gave another queue (#6). Waited approximately 20 minutes and was called up to Window 3, CO asked, "Do you have CRBA for your daughter?" Gave to them. Told him to go inside and wait for window 5. Waited inside, queue 5. They called queue 7 first. Another 30 minutes. Called to window 5. She asked,
"Can you promise that everything you say is the truth? Please scan your hand."
"What does your wife do?"
"If you go to the US where will you live?"
"What happened the last time you tried to enter the US?"

Wife's interview was great. Basic questions about relationship. Only thing that slowed everything down was the doctor for the medical entered the wrong expiration date on the sealed medical form. That processing for a simple clerical error took another month. Embassy Staff was pleasant and cordial but the process should be quicker in this day and age with technology.

My wife had a good experience at the dreaded "window #5". After asking all of her questions the lady told my wife to go to another window. She remembered reading "before leaving ask the interviewer what result you should tell your husband" this saved us from getting a 221. Below is the interview.
Window #5
She : Hello , how are you?
She : can you promise that everything you say or show will be the truth?
She : How you both meet?
She : how do you communicate? (Paraphrased)
She: Where is he now?
She : what he is doing for living?
She : has he been married before?
She : how many times?
She: when did he get divorce?
She: have u been married before?
She : do you have any children?
She : how many time he come to see you?
She : When did the last time u met him?
She: have long have you known each other?
She : alright , thank you so much ... read complete review
