Good interview and Embassy process. Respectful, friendly, and tried to accommodate by speaking Thai. Interview was all in English in the end.

I cant really get too specific about the interview because it was my fiancé that attended but she said that the interview was very. The said that the majority of her time was spent waiting. When she finally had the interview, they only asked her 3 Questions. Where does your fiancé live? How did you meet? And pointed to a picture, and asked if this was her fiancé. She was asked if she would like to have the interview in English or Thai. She decided to have the interview in English but at times the conversation was switched to Thai. She did say that when they did speak Thai, the CO wasn't very good. She did say that he was a very friendly man.
Her interview was at 0800 and she was out by 1000

The entire process with this embassy was very easy and they provided quick answers via email to every question we asked.
The interview itself was also very smooth and both people were very kind.
They only asked 3-4 basic questions at each step. How did we meet, where and when will we get married, when is the last time you saw him...

Hi marks to the Embassy staff for efficiency. Everything went much faster and smoother than we expected.
Here are the details from Noom's embassy inteview on 07 September 2016.
After he cleared the security check upon entering the building (metal detector, wanding, bag search, checking his mobile phone) he was told to go to Zone B for K1 Visa. When he got to the window, a Thai lady asked him for his documents; he had all of our evidence of relationship in a 3 ring binder, and he had to take everything out of the binder before she would take it. Then he was finger printed. Then she gave him a number (#4) and told him he could be seated. After just a few minutes a different Thai lady called him up and returned duplicate documents he had submitted that they said they didn't need. Basically what he submitted for Packet 3 and Packet 4 were exactly the same documents (only difference originals instead of copies or vice versa) + Packet 4 was medical document... read complete review

Over at https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/family/fiance-k-1.html it says that documents not in English, or in the native language (Thai)need a translation. This isn't true for the Bangkok embassy. They want anything not in English to be translated.
Also,
Packet 3 and Packet 4 say nothing about the need for the Thai home registration book being required, but it was requested in our interview. I had my fiancee bring it and everything that they could ever ask for, so we were ok.
The actual interview was very quick and they asked only a few easy questions. However, they asked a lot of questions out in the queue and at intake. Practice and prepare.
Good Luck!
