Document review went quickly. Since all documents and proof were in order, interview only lasted a few minutes.

My fiancee reports that her experience with the US Embassy in Bangkok Thailand is similar to the others reported here for the same Embassy. She arrived at approximately 6:15AM for her scheduled interview appointment at 7:00AM. She contacted me at about 8:30AM BKK time that she had complete her interview and was verbally told she had received approval. Her total time inside the embassy was under 1 1/2 hours.

During the final stage of the interview she was asked the standard 3 questions (Where did you meet, where does your Finance work, and where does he live). She described her interviewer as a "farang" with a bald head and a good heart. Over all, she said the interview process was a lot less stressful than she was expecting. That was likely because she was well prepared with a complete set of documents and with a 5 year relationship between she and I, she had a sufficient relationship evidence package backing up the K1.

One item I can add that I... read complete review

I had an appointment at 9.30 but I went there early so they let me in around 8.18.

After going thru security, I had to go to window 1 to send all the documents that I haven't sent on PACKET3 which are the original of my birth certificate, Thai police clearance, certificate of being single, name change certificate and also proof of relationship.

Then they asked me to wait for around 15 minutes. Thai woman at window called my queue number. She was so nice and asked when I will go to America. She checked all the documents again. Then she told me to go inside the interview room.

I had to wait for almost an hour. I was super nervous and there wasn't really nothing to do. All I could do was staring at a Consular Officer and praying for myself. lol

Finally, my time has finally come. He called my number and asked me to swear to answer all the questions honestly.
The questions are...
1. Where did you meet your fiance?

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiancee just left the embassy about an hour ago..... WITH AN APPROVAL!!!!! I am going to try and put as much info in this review as I can, but you have to understand I was getting information from a crazy woman so happy she was crying, and so in shock she didn't know what to do. I will update this review as more info become available, but I have a good understanding of how it went down.

Her appointment was for 7am at he embassy. She arrived really early at a little after 6am. She messaged me telling me she was waiting outside, and we chatted back and forth a little bit. They started lining people up by Visa type at about 6:40 am. K1's in this line, CR1 here, Tourist visa here based on your appointment time. My fiancee was second in line for the K1 visa line. About 6:50am or so she messaged me she was on the way in. She got thru security a little after 7am, and went to get her paperwork reviewed at a counter and from what I can tell she was assigned a number and told t... read complete review
