Interview was scheduled for 07:30 and my F arrived at 06:30. She was directed in as soon as she arrived. All paperwork was confirmed and interview was held by 08:00. Everyone was nice and pleasant. Interview was simple. Just 4 questions:

How long have we know each other?
What's my job?
Do I have children, do they live with me?
When was the last time we've seen each other in person?

10 minutes with interview and approved. They've instructed my F she'll have her visa within 1 week. Very happy to have this part behind us. Total process to today has been almost 2 years.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Pretty well organized, my wife showed up at 7:00 AM and stood in line outside. She was told to turn off her phone. She went in and was grouped with a couple of other Thai fiances one of which left crying because she didn't have all of her paper work in order. We hired G.A.M legal alliance to make sure our packet 3 & 4 were all set at a cost of about 25,000 baht. The interview was done partly in English and partly in Thai because that's just how it went ... the guy was very laid back. The questions asked were very generic like where do you plan to live, what is the purpose of you seeking the K-1 visa, what kind of work does your fiance do. It's a nerve racking process but it's nothing to be scared of, this embassy is very good!

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

The interview appointment was set for 9am. I arrived at 7am and was allowed to enter the Embassy to wait in a seated area for the interview. The longest part was the wait for the interview, which was about 3 hours.

The interview itself was very smooth and good. My husband and I went over the pre-interview checklist three times to ensure we had all of our documentation in order, which really helped during the interview.
