It was a very nice experience! The people are nice to you, just be smiling and tell the truth all the way thru then everything is gonna be alright.
I was there at 7.45am and was led in at 8am. I was back at my hotel at 9.20am..
They asked:
How we met.
Where does your fiancé work.
What is your likes and dislikes about your fiancé.
When are you getting married.
And the last question was, what is your fiancés name.
Very easy. I'm super happy now!

I arrived june 18 8:00 am on my interview day and i was the first one in immigration visa line. The way i interde to the embassy was pretty much the same as previous review, easy and smooth and i must say the security guards was very friendly and they told me to follow the yellow line. I inter to the house and i went directly to window G. One gentleman asked me my passport and he told me to sit down and wait until they called me again.
After about 15 minute my name was called again and it was one lovely lady this time. She asked me if i prefer to speak swedish or english and i said both would be fine and we continued our communication by english. She started to asked me my document from the checklist police and birth certificate, evidence of support, evidence of relation, two passport size of photograph and finally divorce decree. My fiancee divorce decree was a copy one and she told me to mail them COURT CERTIFIED COPY OF DIVORCE DECREE i was a little bit disappointe... read complete review

A very easy experience, not without its problems but one should not blame the service staff when the chefs haven't done the menu properly!
Security was very easy and relaxed. I lined up at the Yellow sign for Citizen Services and Immigrant Visas. Was called forward without having to wait too long.
Inside I was sent straight to Window G and had my forms all checked. UK Police report was the wrong one, and I-864 needs to be re-done, plus I-864a is needed as well. I knew there would be something wrong! So many forms and documents it's almost impossible to keep everything in track.
Presented all other documents, including ream of photos of our life together.
Paid my visa fee at the cashier via credit card.
Interview was nice and friendly. Explained how we met (dating agency), and where and something of our life together over the past years. What will I be doing in the US? Nothing unexpected or difficult. Honest an... read complete review

My appointment was for 8.30 am, and I arrived at 7.50. I was first in line for the Immigration line, and the receptionist called me in shortly after. You show your passport through the window, and then they ask you to show the bottoms of your shoes. You then proceed to go through a metal detector and there's a spot for small things to be stored such as cellphones.
They then ask you to follow the yellow line on the ground which will take you to where your visa interview will be held. A guard will be at the door asking if you're there for a non-immigrant visa, while K-1 is one, it is not what you're there for. Say you're there for an immigration visa and you were told to go to window G. Once they let you in, you head over to window G where I was met with a lovely Swedish man who requested all of my documents. My birth certificate was in Swedish (Personbevis 120) so he told me to send the English version in ASAP. After that, I sat down for about 10 minutes before my name w... read complete review

I had my interview on July 2nd. I arrived at the embassy a little after 7am and lined up at the sign for American citizens/immigrant visa interviews. Not long after that the guards started calling people up to the window one by one from the other line, when people who arrived there after me started walking up I asked the guard if I should be walking up now or if I had to wait until all of them have gone through security and he said I should walk up next. I had to show him my passport, he asked whether I had any liquids (I had a can of soda) and asked to see the bottoms of my shoes, then another guard on the inside took my phone, headphones and charger and gave me a little token to hand back in when I leave.
After that I went inside the consulate where a very cheerful guard asked me how can he help me today, I told him I'm here for a fiance visa interview and he guided me to window G. There I talked to a guy who asked for most of my papers, birth certificate translation ... read complete review
