Everyone in the embassy were nice and the process went smoothly.
Since our package was well organized Jose was only asked 4 questions.

Make sure to be at the door at the right day and time as they are not flexible.

I had my interview scheduled at the American Embassy in Madrid at noon on May 28th, 2014. Just before that I picked up my medical exam at Unidad Angloamericana, which is 25 min walking from the Embassy. They send you to other hospital (Nuestra Señora del Rosario) to have a chest X-ray taken. This other hospital is 20 minutes walking from Unidad Angloamericana. I arrived at the Embassy at 11am and security let me in after checking my name was on the list. They made me turn my cell phone off and kept it until I left the Embassy. I had my folder with documents checked.

Then, I went to the waiting room after I picked up a number. In that room is also where the Embassy employees are in their cubicles. I waited 35 minutes and my number was called. A Spanish e... read complete review

Today, 4th of June, 2014 I was scheduled to be interviewed at 12noon at US Embassy Madrid. I arrived at the embassy at 11:00am and they let me in by passing through the security. Scanned all my things. I didn't bring a cellphone but I found out that in US Embassy, Madrid they're not very strict. You can bring your phone as long as it's off while you are inside the embassy and you can also bring bags but just need to be scanned. After that I passed through the main door of the embassy and was given a number. I waited and was called at exactly 12 noon. At the counter they checked if I submitted all the documents and returned all the originals sent to the NVC. They asked for my medical result then also the copy of the latest tax return and I gave them the 2013 IRS Transcript Tax Return. After that, I did an electronic fingerprinting. Then after that I was asked to sit and wait for my number to be called again... read complete review
