They let me in 40 min before the scheduled time for the interview. I got my number and waited less than 10 min to be called to the first window (certificates, affidavits of support and all that stuff). That first part was about 5 min or so.
After another 10 min, I got called to the interview window. The interviewer was really nice and asked the following questions:
- Who's the petitioner?
- Where did you meet each other?
- Where's your spouse living now?
- Are you planning to stay there?
And that's it!!! I finished the whole thing when I was supposed to have the interview :P.

This review is from July 2017.
The appointments at the embassy are at 2:30pm for family visas. I was able to chose the date but all the appointments were at 2:30pm. I needed to take the day off anyway to travel to Madrid, so that did not particularly bother me.
There was a short line and one of the embassy workers put a sticker on my passport indicating I was there for a a K1 visa.
As usual, they made me leave my phone to enter the embassy but they allowed a small bag. Backpacks are not permitted.
Once you go in you take your number (the number machine is right before entering the main room) and wait.
I had to wait about 20-30 min, then they took my documents, asked for the medical and the x-ray. They returned the x-ray sealed and explained that if approved I'll receive the documents in a big envelope that I could open, then inside there will be my passport and another envelope I should not open.
Then I waited again and finally got to... read complete review

So I got into the embassy around 20 min before my interview. There was around 3 guards at the entrance and I asked where I was suppose to go to attend my interview. A very nice lady asked for my name and told me to follow the guard to the check and once inside to press the B for Immigrant visa. I went to the embassy with my stuff well organized inside a plastic bag. Once the guard checked everything, he asked me if I needed all what I had in my bag and since I just wanted the documents, he took my bag and asked me to give away my phone (previously closed) and gave me a big yellow tag with a number that I had to give back before I left the embassy to get back my stuff.
Once I got in, there was first a big room with a machine in which you had to grab a number so they could call you to give the papers and for the interview. Next, I walked into another room with chairs and surrounded by windows. I waited around 5 min before a nice lady told me to approach and give the proof of payme... read complete review
