The interview process was very straightforward and easy, we were very nervous before the start but the people at the embassy made everything so easy.
The first part we went to a lady who took our fingerprints, embassy fee, put all of our evidence together, she was very friendly and explained everything crystal clearly.
The second part was the actual interview with the CO, we were the only ones at the embassy at the time so it took about 10 minutes for my fiancé and I to be called. (Forgot to mention as the foreign fiancé I was allowed to attend; huge bonus) The CO was like talking to a friend, immediately made us feel comfortable with a really positive attitude, have never spoke to someone so nice at a government office in my life. He proceeded to ask my fiancé very basic questions such as plans about our future, her personal plans, how we met, briefly looked at our I-134, did the whole interview with a smile, and left us with two big smiles with the words your ... read complete review

Embassy didn't contact me on their own. After I found online that status of my visa is ready to be processed at the embassy I messaged them and scheduled the interview. Email communication was efficient. I asked about available date for next week (17-21 December) and got first available one - 15th of January.
The interview itself was pretty easygoing. Security checks before entering embassy (similar to airport TSA style). Waiting for 30mins, talking to a nice lady, handing her documentation, getting my fingerprints scanned and paying for DS-160 - this all took less than 7mins. They didn't require any special documentation, returned most of the additional stuff I brought and also returned the pictures from original package - nice! Waiting for 2-3 hours after that and then being called to another window for the interview itself with the embassy consul. Super nice guy, it felt like talking with a friend and just updating him about our relationship. He asked maybe 3-4 extre... read complete review

Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The wait was not long at all. The man reviewing my case was sweet and funny, and made the whole process light and stress-free. Once I was called in for my interview, I was asked a few questions, nothing too serious, and then my visa was approved! Smooth, easy, stress-free process!

Workers at the embassy and the consul were very nice and friendly. The lady told me, what to expect next, she asked me for all the paperwork I was supposed to bring. Any other unnecessary questions were asked. The consul ask me to sing the paper where I promised to get married in 90 days and told me my visa are approved. I spent not even one hour there.

The staff working at the embassy was very kind a very professional. I attended CR1 interview with my husband. After passing security check we waited about half an hour in the waiting room. After that we were called by a very nice Slovak lady who took my fingerprints, went through all our documents and explained everything in detail. After that we were told to wait in the waiting room and after about 15 minutes got called again to pay fees. This can be done either with cash or credit card. They don't accept debit cards. After paying the fee we were called by a nice and friendly American female consul who also took fingerprints. The whole interview took only couple of minutes. No questions were asked about how I met my husband or anything like that (maybe because they didn't need to verify the relationship since he was there with me). After that we were told to wait about 2-3 days for the visa since their system was down and they couldn't finalize the checks at the moment. Two days later... read complete review
