Fiance said that his interview was quick and painless. There was a lot of "come to this window, go sit, come to this window" etc. Everyone he spoke to was very kind. They asked him simple questions; how did you meet, what does your fiance do for work, when did you propose, has she ever been here. He went in at 9 am and was out and approved by 10:30. We gave them pictures, chat and skype logs, pages of a scrapbook I made for him, and just the affidavit of support, no request for stubs, employer letter, or anything else. Great experience overall!

We followed all instructions that we found on this site, and everything went as smooth as it can go. We thought we'd wait much longer to get the interview date, but it happened relatively soon! I went to the embassy with my mom, she wasn't allowed in with me. Before entering the security checked my things and once inside everyone was very polite, smiling and nice. They did let me know I will stay to wait up to 3 hours, and thats how it was. First they asked for my documents, then I proceeded to pay visa fee and then I had an interview with consulate worker. The consulate lady was very nice and interview itself lasted few minutes where I got to explain our case. Finally she said "We would like to inform you that your visa has been approved, good luck in your life with your fiance" and I couldn't help but cry in front of her! Overall, it was stressful, but stress was definitely down when faced with such polite and warm receptionists and workers at the embassy. The only thing I can say ne... read complete review

My experience at the US Embassy in Belgrade was great as usual (I've interviewed for a couple of non-immigrant visas there before): everyone was very polite and organized and the whole process took about two and a half hours. The consul that interviewed me asked me about my previous trips to the US, whether I've lived someplace other than Serbia (and the US), a few things about my wife (current employment, etc.) and they looked the pictures of the two of us I brought asking a few basic questions about some of them (where the pic was taken, the occasion, when was it taken, etc.) and a couple of more really basic questions about some of the things from my application before approving it and wishing me luck for my future life the US. After the interview I went back to a window and I was offered the choice between coming back to the embassy to pick up my passport when my visa is printed or to have it delivered to a DHL office of my choice. Since I'm not from Belgrade, I... read complete review
