My fiance said the whole process went very smoothly. Once inside the embassy, they called him up to hand in sponsor papers and then his other forms. Then he was interviewed by an American woman...She asked him what his fiance\\\'s name was, how we met, if either of us had been married before. And then congratulations! She said he was approved and could pick up his visa on Thursday. Overall, he said they were very pleasant and he had no problems!

My fiancee had her interview today, but she was told that they will call her in three weeks maybe to schedule another one.

Interview was a nice woman. Accepted explanations when our answers differed slightly. Pushed our visa thru quickly when I told her I already had husbands airline ticket leaving for US in 5 days, had it ready in 4 days. Now picking it up was a pain because we were given an appointment outside the "normal" pick up times. The woman at the outside window was adament that we had to return the next day and that I had the wrong pick up date. I wouldn't budge and kept asking for superiors and refusing to take "go and come back later" as an answer. She gave me all sorts of reasons I had to leave - I needed to schedule an appointment (even though I had an official note stating to come in on Monday), that the woman wasn't in so I couldn't pick it up, that the packet wasn't ready, that no one else could put the packet together, etc, etc, etc. I stood my ground and we were finally admitted.
