The process was very smooth and clear cut. WE arrived on the correct time and was taken in right away, You must leave your cell phone in your car because they no longer hold them for you at the front of the embassy with security. We were called fairly quickly and they took my husbands passport, told to have a seat. about 10 mins later we were called again. This time an Indian man interview us (I the petitioner attended the interview with my husband).
They asked us the very basic questions like do you have children together and how long you know each other and when you got married. They did try to trick us at this time with our marriage date (like they said you got married on Aug 4th right? which was not the date we got married September 7th.) so you must be careful when answering questions and pay attention to whats being asked. They then took finger prints and told us to sit and wait to be called again. after some time we were called again and an American man took my husbands ... read complete review

Hi,I'm a filipino working in Saudi Arabia and applied here for fiancee visa while my fiancee is in Washington. I finished already my interview last February 24,2015 and I think it turns out ok because the consultation said there's no problem with me except my fiancee affidavit of support. They were satisfied even though we included his father's sponsorship but I don't think they accepted the affidavit of his fathers. They issued g221 which requires us to submit pay stubs and certificate of employment. But at that time he was just hired in a company paying him $10 per hour, we waited for 3 months to compile the said needed documents. Finally last June 8 I submitted the said requirements and when I checked in CEAC dated June 14 I read there READY and checked after 2 business day but until now there is no changes. I'm scared and worried we might not be approved? I'm expecting to be approved since we waited for 2 years for this.

Interview completed. Could not go into embassy until 10 minutes prior to scheduled interview. Staff was courteous and kind. Basic general questions and fair treatment. We did get a 221g for the I-864 not having original signature of joint sponsor. We will submit when it arrives in the next week. Great experience and great staff at the embassy there.

It was a really big day for me.
I live in Saudi Arabia, Eastern Provinces, city: Al-Khobar.
My interview was 22 January 2015, 12:30PM at US embassy in Riyadh which is 400km far away from my living city. I rented a car with driver, and we started our journey 5:30 in the morning. It took us 4 hours to reach the destination in Riyadh Embassy.
We park our car in the embassy parking.
It was new place for both of us, therefore we decided to visit embassy area to pass our lazy time.
We sat in front of US embassy to see their activities. There were lot of saudi student on the line for waiting to enter the embassy and few other nationals citizen on immigrant line.
At 11:30 i saw there was no one on que, i thought they will give access to enter the embassy 1 hour before. But the security guard refused me to enter or wait in line, just simply told me to come on exact time.
Then i waited one more hour, and finally my driver told me its 12:30! ... read complete review

My husband went into the US Embassy at 12:00pm. His appointment for 12:30pm. He went through security. Showed them his passport and appointment letter. My husband just took his documents with him inside and just left everything not allowed in his car.
He took a number, waited until his number was called. He was greeted by a india officer. Took his finger prints. They didn't need any of photo passports he brought or the DS-260 Confirmation document even tho he tried to hand it over.
He was told that your wife seem like she dosen't make enough and would be a public charge, but my husband had brought a new I-864 with increase in wage and assets combined. My husband told him about the increase in wage and assets in the documents he had.
The officer said to give them to the next officer when his number was called for the actual interview. When they finally called him. He was greeted by a white american women. He did the oath of raising the right ... read complete review
