My fiance arrived at the Embassy at 7:30AM, and said the line wasn't too long, and was greeted very warmly by each person she came in contact with. After 2 hours or so, her and her son finally met very nice woman consular, and my fiancee felt very comfortable throughout the interview. She asked her son only about his English, which he speaks very little...and although normally they would've only asked a few small questions, my fiance enjoyed their conversation so much, and wanted to tell her everything the interview lasted about 10 minutes...My fiance was very impressed, and very happy with the whole process.

Overall a very good experience. We waited about 2.5 hours for the interview but it did take a while to get into the Embassy to start with. We got there at 7:30 and there was a very long line already but it did move quickly so not a problem. When they did call her name I went up to the window with her so they interviewed us together. The man was very polite and asked her only about 4 questions. He started out in English then switched to Russian which she liked. To be honest I don't ever remember him asking me anything? He asked her how much time we had spent together and she said about a month in a half and I added that was total from all the trips. That's it! Approved

It was so easy!!!
my interview was set on 8 am, I came to consulate at 7.30, there were a LOT of people already!about 50 or 60! so I got into the line and started waiting. Police started to let in people at 7.45, they collect passports from group of people(of 10-12), I believe, they comparing surnames at some list in their booth and then policeman let you into another line directly to the door to embassy. There they check your printed appointment, where your surname and date is shown ( when you register for appointment onlin you got this paper sent to your e-mail), then there is a security check ( you should leave some stuff at the enter point, such as electronic devices, cables, parfume, guns and knives, etc.). I had only my documents and a book to kill time there, so i left only a cell there, I saw people bringing laptops and other stuff- think twice before getting something like that to the place like embassy you will safe your time and nerves, I promise!<... read complete review

My fiancee and I had our interview at Moscow on the 10th of August. The whole thing was pretty easy, they tell you where to go and what to do, and there is a lot of waiting for the Consular officers to go through the files. Look for the Pink ones for K-1s :P We were almost the last to be interviewed because we were late, so were there until about noon, but the interview itself was easy.
Since I was there with my fiancee, we were interviewed separately, but I could still hear all her answers so that didn't really matter. The main questions were how you met, what do your parents think, where will you live, when was the proposal, etc. Last about 3 minutes for each of us, and then called both of us up to tell us we were approved.
Very good experience, especially since I was able to be there with her!
