Our experience at this Consulate was very good. I would recommend you only bring the papers you need and ID and not your cellphone, extra bags, etc. It slows down getting through security and they may make you leave the stuff outside.

Overall it was a good experience and the staff there was very friendly.

The room was tiny and full of people, most didn't have a place to sit. Even though I came way earlier than should have, I somehow ended up almost at the end of all immigrants. They didn't call all numbers in the strict order, so two people that came after me were interviewed first. After an hour of waiting a lady asked me to give her my original documents, she asked for a birth certificate, new police certificate, ... read complete review

Finally my visa is approved! It took only 10 minutes, the consul was so nice, we talked in both Russian and English. She asked few questions about how did we meet, how many many times, I showed her our pictures. And - your visa is approved!!
