We waited outside the embassy in a line until it was time for us to go in. We were directed through security and went through another check before we went upstairs to a fairly small waiting room. There was a "teller" window and we checked in there and then sat for about 20-30 minutes. The main person seemed to be busy training new employees. (This was during the time 700+ workers were about to be expelled by Russia.) Eventually, we were called. I thought we would go to a private office, but instead we moved to another place with a bank-style teller window again. The woman (maybe in her 30s) was very nice. She asked us basic questions about how we met and when I came to Moscow. It took about five minutes. We offered to show photos and she took them and looked at maybe 2 or 3. She said we were approved...congrats and goodbye.

I had my interview on June 23, 2017 and it went REALLY smooth. The people at the embassy were really nice and professional. I got there at 8:30 and at 8:40 I was already pass the security check. I attended the interview with my fiancee. It took us about 10 minutes to register, go through biometrics and give them all the required documents. After that, we sat down in the waiting room until we were asked to enter the interview room. The interview itself lasted just about 5 minutes. The officer asked us two questions about how and when we met and then told us that our visa was approved and we'd get it in about a week. I was expecting him to ask us for pictures, messages etc. but he didn't. I think it has something to do with that fact that my fiancee was there with me. So, if you cam, you should attend the interview with your fiance/ee, it'll make it a lot faster and easier.

I enjoyed the whole process. Even huge lines. After when I got my pass for an immigration visa, I went upstairs, gave all my biometrics and documents and went in for an actual interview. A council have been asking me quite a few questions but they all were about how did my fiancee and I met and etc.

Sergei had a good experience at this consulate. The process took about two hours from beginning to end. He said the girl who interviewed him was very nice. The interview itself was about 15-20 minutes. She asked him a few questions about his background, how we met, our trips together and when we decided to become engaged. After that, she told him he was approved and he just needed to wait for his visa.

Интервью прошло очень быÑтро, конÑул был очень вежливым, задавал личные вопроÑÑ‹ примерно минут 5. Совет - оÑтавить Ñумку перед входом в поÑольÑтво где-то Ñ Ð´Ñ€ÑƒÐ·ÑŒÑми или в машине, очень много вещей Ð½ÐµÐ»ÑŒÐ·Ñ Ð¿Ñ€Ð¾Ð½Ð¾Ñить внутрь.
