She stated that there were many people there that day and that her interview was last. I don't have all the details yet but she said that the people at the consulate were very nice.

Interview took 5 minutes. Wait time was over an hour in cold weather outside. Interviewer was extremely friendly and approved the visa.

Finally, we got the visa! The interview went smoothly. Usual questions. A nice ambassador. Visa received! Finally.

Everything went pretty smoothly. The officers there were courteous, and questions asked included how we met, what my husband (the beneficiary) does, whether he speaks English, and why we had two weddings (one in Russia, one in the U.S.). He did ask to see pictures. Other than that, no problems! The waiting is much worse than the actual interview part.
