My interview was on December,19th, 2017. This was a busy day primarily reserved for fiances so there were about 20 people which caused long waiting for all of us. But the interview itslf was smooth and pretty fast. The questions were:
-Tell me how you two met
-Show me the pictures from Paris
-Who are these people on the photo (pictures with my family and friends. had to name each person)
-Has your fiance been married before?
-Have you met his family?
And then the officer asked if I had read the paper about domestic violence and said "Your visa is approved!"

For this interview appointment there was myself (petitioner), my fiancee and her daughter and son. Interview was time was 0900 on October 25. We arrived at the embassy at 0830, and there was no one out front - we expected to see a line. So we asked a guard where to go because there are 3 guard shacks along the embassy building. When you face the embassy from Bolshoy Devyatinsky Lane you will enter on the far right side of the embassy building.
We went through security, and then checked in for the interview. The staff asked for a copy of the appointment confirmation letter and international passports. They checked the passports and confirmation letter against the DS-160's they had on file. For K1 interviews at the US embassy in Moscow, the petitioner is allowed to attend the interview and their name is on the interview list - so you do not need to call the embassy to add your name to the list to enter the embassy.
Note: before you go to interview, mak... read complete review
