We came to the interview together. It was a chilly rainy day. After waiting outside for about 30 minutes we entered the building and got our number. The next was mostly sitting and waiting. The building is brand new and quite spacious. The process was rather simple, first you get your number and wait, later you are invited to submit financial documents and have fingerprints taken, finally, you talk to the officer. We waited about one hour and a half since our appointed time, but we came 40 minutes earlier. The interview itself was very quick and the officer was nice and polite. She only asked us where we met and what work my petitioner does. She mostly talked to him. After about 2-3 minutes of the interview she said that the visa is approved and it will be delivered in 10 days.
All in all, it was a positive experience!

I arrived at the embassy 10 minutes before the appointment time. It took me around 10 minutes from entering the premises to getting my queue number. The interview was quick and easy, it lasted less than a couple of minutes. Overall the embassy did a great job handling the case. Can't say that about the USCIS (although they sent the green card within 2-3 weeks, which was rather quick).

Our interview was in May, everything was kinda smooth (one document wasn't correct, had to mail it to them later), and absolutely not fast (it took us more than 3 hours before we talked to the CO). First you get your personal number, then wait to give them all of your papers (no worries there, all workers are extremely polite and helpful), after that sit and wait for your number to show up on a big screen so you can go and talk to a CO. Usually an interview takes 10-15 minutes, every person had a huge folder full of different proof (it's my guess cuz they still had lots of papers left after giving all necessary docs to an embassy worker). When it was our turn to meet the CO, we came to a window, greeted her (she's a very nice woman, spoke Russian to me, I didn't expect it lol), she asked us literally just 3 questions: how did you meet? is it your first marriage? where are you going to live? It took us 3 minutes, and after that she said that we're approved. So no proof, no pictures, she... read complete review
