I arrived at the embassy 10 minutes before the appointment time. It took me around 10 minutes from entering the premises to getting my queue number. The interview was quick and easy, it lasted less than a couple of minutes. Overall the embassy did a great job handling the case. Can't say that about the USCIS (although they sent the green card within 2-3 weeks, which was rather quick).

Our interview was in May, everything was kinda smooth (one document wasn't correct, had to mail it to them later), and absolutely not fast (it took us more than 3 hours before we talked to the CO). First you get your personal number, then wait to give them all of your papers (no worries there, all workers are extremely polite and helpful), after that sit and wait for your number to show up on a big screen so you can go and talk to a CO. It took us 3 minutes, and after that she said that we're approved. So no proof, no pictures, she... read complete review

My interview lasted for about 10 minutes. My fiancée came from the Asia to Russia for the interview specifically and I think that made all the difference. The interviewer was very nice - he asked questions like where you met and how did he propose, where do his parents live, what school did I go to (I studied in the US) and the fact that he misses ChickFilA LOL. That’s was it...
