Total time in Embassy was 5 hours. Total time in interview was 30 minutes.
Asked how we met, where I lived. Asked about my job and what I did. Asked about our meetings in St. Petersburg and Dallas. Asked her son if we had met. The oldest (20) was asked if he wanted to live in America. The youngest (6) was asked if he wanted to learn English. Two personal photos were taken, and no other evidence was asked to be seen. Approved with a smile at the end of the interview.

Everything seemed to work pretty much as expected from reading the information they sent and the information on this website. The only advice I'd give to anyone applying there is that most likely your invitation will say that you need to be there at 0740 but that the interview is at 0800. Well they don't open the doors to enter the Embassy until 0800... or at least they are supposed to. On our day they didn't open until 0820. I would also suggest that you get there earlier, sometime between 0700 and 0720 preferably and start the line to go in. Otherwise you'll be in line with all the other applicants for the day. Also... if it's cold weather, wear VERY WARM clothes. We stood for an hour out in -20 degree weather while it snowed on us for 1 hour... neither of us could feel our feet when they opened the door and let her in. I went back to our room and warmed my feet up before heading back to wait for her to exit. In total it took a little over 2 hours from when Tanya walked into... read complete review

The interviewer was a male consulate which seemed to give the fiancee's a hard time. He didn't ask any questions about our relationship, just said a bunch of statements that my fiancee had to defend herself. My fiancee said he only had one finger on each hand, and was a complete di** to her and the fiancee in front of her. My fiancee's advice is to listen to the people in front of you and try to prepare yourself for the same retarded questions. She said the there was another interviewer (female) who seemed to be pretty nice, but she didn't talk to her. Well she was issued a visa Hope your interview goes more smoothly with the same "congrats you will get your visa...sometime"
(overall useless interview with unnecessary rudeness!!!)
