Short interview, and Consul was pleasant and nice. No problems and my Fiance' was worried for nothing. I spent the time outside speaking with some idiot that thought he totally understood "Russian Chicks" and such, and trying to pray for my Fiance' and her daughter between his imbecilic ramblings.
Top notch interviewer and my Lady and her daughter were ecstatic after.
Now I am also!

The interview went very well, not to mention quickly. I had contacted my congressman's office well in advance, and they sent a letter in my behalf to the embassy. I cannot stress enough how much this helps!!! Anyone else who wants to be over the top, do this! 3 questions, what is name of spouse, how me met, and where we will live. Less than 5 minutes and approved. After months of worry and stress making sure everything was ready, it was almost anti-climactic. Good luck to the rest of you.

We arrived for the interview at 8am and they started letting people in at 820am. The process lasted until early afternoon. There were 2 women at windows conducting the interviews. The interview lasted about 10 minutes in Russian/English and the questions were: Do you know about your fiances prior marriage? About his criminal record? Does he have any children? How does he get along with your daughter? How we met? How much time we have spent together? They did not ask my fiancees daughter any questions. And the interviewer was impressed that I was waiting outside the Embassy in the rain while the interview was being conducted. Only take what is absolutely necessary because if you have any liquids or electronic devices you will be delayed. My fiancee was the last one (#11) to be interviewed because she had perfume and a cell phone.

It was a very long day for Natasha and the children. Long wait for a 10 minute interview. If all your documents are in order, then just answer the interview questions from your heart. They will ask how you met and about family. If you are divorced then they will ask about ex-spouse.
