The consular was super nice to my fiance, maybe because he was a male coming to USA and also his english is superb! They kept asking about his music and wished us a bright future! (this is the info he gave me)
1 problem with the bio-metrics that we didn't even bother to pay attention to or even know about was that YOU SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR FINGERS! ie: no papercuts, holes or skin shedding. They will deny your visa and wait till the skin turns back to normal. So wear gloves and don't worry hard before that interview!javascript:emoticon('')

My Anna told me the following information. She arrived to the embassy and proceeded to do her fingerprints. She gave all of our documents to first woman at some window.. Then she waited about thirty min and was taken into to meet with the woman consulate. The woman was very friendly and only asked five questions..
When do you have your first meeting
When is your wedding
When is last time you saw each other
How do you communicate
when do you plan to go to usa
Congratulations, welcome to america..
Very simple..
Anna made a point to tell me several times how kind this woman was, as if they could have been instant friends.. All good..

Anna said the interview was very easy and lasted all of about 5 minutes.
Questions were initially in Russian until the interviewer found that Anna had worked in the US, then she asked Anna if she spoke English, which she does, and switched to asking questions in English.
Questions were how many time she'd been to the US, how many times I'd been to Russia, how we met... Anna answered the last question as matter of fact "We met when I worked in Anchorage, Alaska". Then the interviewer turned to start typing something on the computer. Anna panicked a little and started running through our whole relationship from start and heading to finish, when she was cut off by the laughing interviewer, "I'm giving you the visa! Don't worry. " Anna thought she was being declined for some reason. So no worries! She only showed a few pictures, didn't need to show our chats or phone records or cards or damn near anything. I guess the amount of evidence Anna was ready to ... read complete review

Asked just a few questions. Arrived a bit after 8 and waited about four hours for her turn. Was able to meet others in line for fiancee visa--probably some interesting conversations.))

It was simple and painless. They asked her if she wanted to speak in English or Russian. She said Russian, but answered the questions in English; so they switched to English.
They asked to see some photos, read a few pages of our ICQ chats and that was that.
