Interview was really short. Felt like 5 minutes. The officer was very polite and kind. Questions asked:
1. Where did you meet the first time?
2. What did you like about the place you meet?
3. What do you like about your fiancé?
4. Has your fiancé been married before?
5. How did you meet?
6. Was the website IMBRA?
7. When will you marry?
" You are approved. Good Luck. You have 90 days to marry. Your visa will be mailed to you within a week. "
It was that easy. Something to note, When he asked about IMBRA, I had the Terms and Conditions from the website explaining that they are not an IMBRA website and the officer looked at the paper for a few seconds.

My fiancee had her interview on September 7th. The interview was brief and went well with friendly discussion. However, the CO questioned a past employment and a current employment. She received the 221g for Admin Review and she was asked to email her resume to the embassy. After doing some research, we believe it might have been because of the MANTIS check for those with a background related to the Technology Alert System (TAL), but we cannot confirm this speculation with any evidence. From what we know, this is a common occurrence.
She emailed the resume that same day and we checked daily on the CEAC web site for the status of the case. Because we did not receive any information with details, we could only rely on the Status Date changing. It updated once after they received the resume and again a day later, likely because the CO requested an Admin Review. Three weeks passed with no update and on September 26, the date was updated. The very next day, the CEAC case was ... read complete review

The CO was friendly and positive, although he seemed to have more questions about our case than everyone else's. The consulate was pretty helpful - actually, more helpful than the USCIS and NVC, which is really surprising for Russia. Interview was scheduled just 2 days after receiving our packet.

~This Consulate does not process immigrant visas!!~
I've been here many times, usually for American Citizen Services. Even if you make an appointment, be prepared to wait for any service they offer. If you're applying for any kind of visa, you'll need to arrive early because you'll have to wait in line outside. This might be uncomfortable in bad weather, which is common in SPB.
If you bring an umbrella, you'll have to hang it up near the security guards. Don't forget to take it when you leave!
