This is a very small embassy with almost no petitions. The process is very quick, all the staff is very nice, professional and helpful. I went there at 9h (my interview was at 9:30) and at 10:30 I was out taking a coffee. Two days later I recieved my passport with the visa and the package to present at the POE. Absolutely no problems.

I have only one "not so good" thing to say: you have to call to get information, their answers to e-mails are pathetic.

Don't be afraid, they are really nice, the interview is as easy as can be and you can speak English or Portuguese.

Embassy forgot to send a little paperwork so had to fill it out there. They asked where we met.

Never asked for proof of ongoing relationship although he had plenty of evidence with him. Had him go away for an hour and then come back for the actual visa in hand.

Very efficient
