My wife had to transfer her visa interview from Russia to Warsaw due to the embassy in Moscow basically shutting down. The consulate was amazing and very helpful in taking our case. My wife showed up and they were very busy. They only took the marriage certificate, birth certificate and the general documents at the first window. They did not ask for any of my financial documents. They didn't even look at any of the pictures which was kind of disappointing because we went through a lot of effort picking the best ones and getting them printed:-). She finished the in-processing and sat down expecting a couple hour wait. Luckily the wait was short and she went to the second window. They only asked when we met, our last vacation and what I did for work. It was a very short interview and she was approved and done. The big issue os that apparently they have changed how you get your visa. Before you could come back the next day and pick it up. Now there is a 3-5 day wait. My wife ... read complete review

K1 Visa, interview for a Russian Citizen since the US Embassy in Moscow is effectively closed for business. She said the interview was good, the officer was friendly and talkative. She said the interview was much less like an interview and more like a natural conversation. She said everything was good until the very last minute; they put her in Administrative Processing.
On the second visit, after Administrative Processing was done, she went there and it was all fine. Gave her passport, they said they could get it done the same day. A few hours later, she went and got her visa.
I'm rating it 5 of 5 because of the service. Administrative Processing was out of their hands, they had absolutely no control over it. Of course we were mad about being in AP, but any officer or embassy would have put her in AP because of my job.

Nothing but positive things to say about the US embassy in Warsaw.
Firstly, I really appreciate that Warsaw embassy allowed our CR-1 case to be transferred from Russia to Warsaw, because the US embassy in Moscow is closed and not processing any visas until further notice.
The embassy scheduled the interview fairly quickly after DQ approval by the NVC, in about 6 weeks, which is very quick for 2021 pandemic year.
At the embassy things went very smoothly, the Consular Officer was very friendly, and was able to give my wife confirmation that she was approved right at the end of the interview. She could pick up her passport with the visa the next day already at the embassy.
I really believe the Warsaw embassy has stepped up incredibly in this difficult pandemic time to keep processing visas, especially for Russians.
