Get number wait in line to be called, the lady went through my documents (from check list). Say everything and told be to take a sit as in a moment she is going to call me for finger prints. The moment last over an hour. After biometric paid at cash window. Take a sit wait to be called. About an hour again. On CO pick up my folder from shelf - I know it was mine as it was pinkish , she looked at all documents and then went to the back. Was thinking sth maybe wrong, as she didn't come for 15 minutes. Then come back an call me. Finally. First take two fingers prints. Tell me to raise the right hand and read the oath stuff from 156 k and tell me to swear. After that she asked me how we met, how long been together, how it all happen. Ask me where my fiancé is leaving. My K-1 interview was scheduled on January 22, 2010 at 8:45AM.
The whole process went smooth and easy. For all future aplicants-don't worry! Everything is going to be alright and there is no need to panic I decided to create a step-by-step guide to show you the process.
1. At the entrance make sure to turn off your phone and hand it to the security for deposit.
2. Show them your passport and invitation letter from the embassy
3. They will guide you to the room where you will receive your case number and will be asked to hand all your documents one by one
4. Next step is to pay for your visa
5. Have a seat and take your time. Wait until your case number is called for actual interview with a CO.
6. That's it! Your are done
My interview took around 5-10 minutes. My CO was vey nice and keen lady.
She asked me how I met my fiancee and how long have we been together. From that po... read complete review

Well I'm writing this for my fiancee, she arrived at the Embassy early, big mistake because when it was all said and done, she waited for 3 hours. I had told her about her cell phone, (what was she thinking? I told her not to bring it) she was told to turn it off. She said that when she was finally called they asked her really basic questions about our relationship and really didn't look at all her other paperwork that she brought. She said that the CO who interviewed her was very nice. She asked about the DHL shipment she provide the pre-printed DHL shipping information and was told that she would pay when it was delivered. This is a little confusing because there have been other VJers who stated that they paid the money up front to in order to recieve it. It was a really good experience and now all we need is the physical visa and her to arrive here in the U.S.A. I wish others the same good experience that we had. I have to give Visajourney all the credit just following the guide... read complete review

My interview in the Warsaw Embassy was quick and easy.I was asked only a few questions about my plans in the USA and how I met my fiance. The conversation was very smooth and the consul (in my case it was a woman) was friendly. However, she forgot to give me the paper to sign so I had to return there after alredy leaving the building but thats a small detail
The only inconvenience may be the waiting part.I had my interview set for 9:30 but I had to wait til around 10:30 for the actual interview. The interview itself lasted no more than 10 mins.
Thank you Warsaw Embassy!

The embassy experience
My appointment was at 09:30 but to be sure I showed up just after 08:00. To my horror I found my aftershave had leaked in my bag and now created a stench cloud around me whenever I moved the bag - to the great annoyance of anyone sitting near me.
Stage 1 - security and "check in"
At security you need to hand in your cell phone and any other electronic equipment - if you don't have a watch you can say goodbye to any sense of timekeeping during the whole process.
Before you enter the main room your invitation is checked again. You are not given a number - you need to go to one of the active interview booths, wait for the person currently using it to finish and ask for a number card to be printed.
Stage II - document check
First off the document check, signing and so on - it went ok apart from a couple of hitches - I didn't get the 157 form - so I had to fill that out on the go. Filled in everything and was t... read complete review
