My fiance is currently going through the process in Manila. She completed the St.Luke's portion and has nothing but positive things to say. She did have a small issue with and ultra-sound. She is pregnant and when the ultra-sound was performed the technician did not spell her name correctly on the ultra-sound itself. She had to go get an affidavit from an attorney verifying that it was her ultra-sound. I know that is crazy but that shows how particular this process is. What really has my dander up is the orientation that everyone is required to attend. My fiance went yesterday and was interviewed during the orientation-which I guess is standard. She was asked questions of how we met, show me pictures and email, phone records, your annullment papers and his divorce paperwork. What is this all about? My mom got her approval. She was so happy that finally she can come over to be with us.
Got there at 5:30 am since her interview was at 6:30 AM. Went inside the embassy, at exactly 6:30 and had her pre-screening. She showed all the evidences linking me as her daughter. She even showed pictures. After the pre-screening, she was fingerprinted. Waited for her number to called. At around 8:45, her number was called and interviewed by the consul. Just took 5 minutes, and she was done.
VISA APPROVED!!!

I thought the 'Manila Interview' submitted by Arnold and Joan was excellent and really could be used by others going through the interview process in Manila. I really recommend it be pinned in the Asia forum!
