Lira said the lady wasn't pleasant at all and asked alot of questions. However, Lira answered every single question correctly. As the interview was ending, Lira asked if she was approved and the lady didn't answer her. She just told Lira to go pay Delbros and was given the pink slip (and no other slips). Oh well, we were approved, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Good luck to everyone!

From what she tells me, the interview with the consulate didn't take more than 5 minutes. They just asked a few a questions and the rest of the time, the consulate was just reviewing the papers.

Well what a relief. We've had a rocky road using fastk3.com as our lawyer help, so anyone looking for a lawyer stay away from them. Our visa was approved today and we are now waiting for it from delbros. The process was quick and painless. We tried to convince ourselves of that when reading these comments before hand, but just couldnt do it. Here is another one saying it's not as bad as it seems

Our daughter went through the interview in Manila a month ago on an IR-3 Visa based on an approved I-600 Petition, and all indications were that she was approved. She passed the medical exam, they took her passport, and we're still waiting for her visa to be delivered. How long does it take to get her visa from Manila to Zamboanga del Norte????? This is more than slightly ridiculous.

My fiance finally has her visa in hand and leaves in a few days. Overall I think the embassy treated her respectfully. The process after the interview left us confused. She had to wait 14 days to receive her visa for the reason of admin review. When we called the embassy we were told that the review could take from days to months-no specific reason given. I would call the embassy and never was provided a straight answer on anything. I find this lack of candor to be unsettling. I think we can all deal with adversity-we just can't deal with the unknown. Overall though they work as advertised. Every comment here is to be prepared with your paperwork and I could not agree more. I wish you all the best of luck in your journeys.
