The interview went very smoothly due to husband to be already contacting his Sen. Lamar Alexlander about our case. Thet asked a few questions but nothing strange until the end and the Consulate asked if I wanted to speak??? The next thing I know they told me I needed to return in 2 days all because Richard had been in trouble with his exwife 30 years ago after I told them that he had told me every thing the first time we met. The Consuate said that was all he needed and said my visa was approved and good luck in our future life.

IO is friendly, he just asked if my husband can walk by himself (he noticed the certification of veteran's benefit among the supporting documents of Affidavit of Support). After browsing briefly my file, he joked that I am a controlling wife and dismissed me.
I just barely out of the room, I saw my number flashed again in another room. Wondering why, I hurried to enter that other room but the guard stopped me saying I'm already done with my turn. I directed his attention to the number flashing in the overhead screen and he immediately called the people inside the processing area about the duplication. It turned out that there's no note in my file so they asked the IO again what's my status. After a few minutes, I saw my file through the glass window with an APPROVED sticker on it.

the interview went on smoothly.
the embassy staff are all polite and well-mannered.
the waiting made me anxious but the pre-screener and the CO are very amiable and the interview went well though i was really nervous at first that i almost forgot my own birthday.

i had my interview at USEM last feb 23, my CO bluntly told me that he would accept my answer if im just being honest and tell him i will divorce my husband after 4 years, that because of the 30 yrs age gap, he didn't believe there's "true love". Of course i defended myself, but he kept expressing his opinion and even told me, " I am telling you, you can divorce him after 4 years" I was forwarded to Fraud Unit, and had my interview again last march 12, but to my surprise, that time i was hit by divorced issue. The interviewer told me why i married a divorced man? do i want to be in hell? Do i read bible? Divorce is written in the book of Matthew. She even told me, this is not what God wanted and planned for me, because if this is God's will, I would not be in her office at FPU, there would be no hindrants in the petitioning. For almost 2 hours before we had the interview process, the interviewer shares stories about how God works and touches peoples life. In short, as if i am in a b... read complete review
