All of the employees & the consulate at the Embassy are very accommodating. Just answer the questions with all your heart & tell the truth. And show & give all the documents they want.

Be ready before your interview. Make sure that all of your documents are complete, because it will add on your confidence on the day of your interview.

My Interview was scheduled for 5/21/09 7:00am. I arrived at 5:00am............Standing and waiting was nerve racking. The overall Interview went quickly and smoothly. I believe once I got into the actual interview it maybe lasted 5 mins. The worrying and stress was much harder than the actual interview. Know your partner, know his family, take it seriously, and studying...if you really want to go be with him...then take it seriously and pray.............it will happen...............

As you can see in my timeline,it took me a long time to schedule my interview coz i need to go back in Thailand to get my foreign police certificate since I worked there for 3 years.I waited for 2 weeks to get the police certificate. Unfortunately, I weren't able to go back in the Philippines on my scheduled flight date 'coz of the street rally and d shutdown of Thailand's airport so, i was stucked up for another week. But after that, everything runs smoothly in my medical exams, interview, flight to US, and Wedding. I filed my AOS last week of March 2009, biometric April 22 and recieved a Welcome notice in my mailbox May 18, 2009. Right now, I'm waiting for my green card n work permit in my mailbox... My application was approved in just a short time.

I was there around 7am (my appointment was 8:30am)..It went smoothly for me all in all..I got out at exactly 10am. The prescreener was really nice. He just asked me for my pictures together with my fiance (He didnt get our chats, emails and tons of paperwork I worked hard to prepare )The Consul was really nice too..good looking guy in his early 30's who knows how to speak tagalog. It wasnt as bad as I ever expected. It was just a breeze.
