Interview Date 9/22/09

It was really Amazing how well organized they were at the Manila Embassy. We arrived at about 7am, and it was raining. The line extended back about 100 feet past the covered walkway but luckily my wife noticed that that was the line for Visitor Visas, The Immigrant visa line was much shorter. Once inside we proceeded directly to the Visa processing area with lots of blue chairs where we had to sit and wait until our appointment time, which was 8:30

Just before 8:30 Emi went to the first Visa window and got her number, then back to the blue chairs. There’s what seemed like a couple hundred chairs in a big room facing an area with lots of bank teller type windows. There were 16 screener windows and some rooms on the right side for the final interview.

Considering the amount of people who were there, the flow was efficient, and it was a quick process.

I think it also helped that my fiance was with me during the interview in the embassy. I guess it cancels out doubt on the legitimacy of our application.

We arrived at about 6:30 and waited and waited. I walked up the street and the security Guard asked to see my passport from the U.S. Then told me to go get my future wife and get into line. Thank God I was bored and took the walk hehehe.
We wait inside and they called her number, they asked for a few pictures ask Rosie was I her Future Husband. They said thank you please have a seat and wait for your interview.
We sat and they called her for her interview, she was asked about 5 question. Said everything was in order, please pay Air21 and wait at home for her Passport and Visa.
Everthing was painless and fast .. we spent 2 days in Manila which was nice for a little vacation way from Cagayan De Oro .. so we shopped a little.
