My fiancee had only one problem during the medical portion. Her one tattoo was questioned and she was required to undergo pyschological evaluation. She passed that and had clear sailing with no problems at all during the interview.

Interview Date: October 8, 2009 (7:00 a.m. appointment)
We arrived at the Embassy before 6:00 a.m. There were four lines, one was for K1/K3. We went through that line but the security guard stationed behind the concrete barrier near the street asked us what time our appointment was and asked us to transfer to a different line. The prescreener, a Filipino, was cordial and pleasant. He asked for our current email correspondence, pictures, and my W-2 statement from 2008. He asked questions like, “How did you guys meet? What does your husband do? What do you do for a living?” It was pretty much a 5-10min prescreen. Once finished, he said to patiently wait for the final interview.
It was only about 5 min after she sat down that she was called in for her interview. This time it was an American (who spoke Tagalo... read complete review
