Ahhh! Finally this day has come! My fiance had his interview at 7:30am. So he arrived at 7:10am. He gave them his interview appointment page to enter and passed through. He waited a bit and inside they finally asked for some papers first (window 14 - passport, 2 photos, $100 receipt that he paid for the visa, ds156 - 2 copies, ds156K, etc.). He sat back down for about 15-20 minutes and then he was called up again (window 12 - affidavits of support, birth certificate, 2 of the 3 types of police reports - penales y judicials, and the EVIDENCE). In window 12, they asked him when he met me, how he met me, where he met me, how many times i've been there, when he last saw me. And they asked him if he had a relative who lived in the U.S. (His sister went on a K-1 visa in Oct 2006 and married an American). And they asked him to give them the photos to see. he said that the woman there asked him really fast for the evidence so he gave her the pictures and that was it. They gave him about 10 sec... read complete review

after waiting for over 4 hours (literally... the interview said 8.30 am and we arrived at 8 am and were not called until almost 1 pm... we were the last ones left), they finally called my fiance's name(now she's my wife). the interview was not really an interview at all. we went to the window, showed some papers, and we were approved. less than 5 minutes at the window.

My fiance and I just got back from our interview! He went to go buy a phone card so we can call our families so I am writing this review in the meantime because I am so excited!!
Our interview was at 730 AM so we arrived at 7 as requested and waited in line, went through security, etc. By the time we got in the embassy it was 730. We waited about 5-10 minutes and they called us. Window 13. The lady asked for the forms DS 156 (2 copies), DS 156K (OF 156K in the packet), DS 157 (for guys only)... medical exam envelope... payment receipt... passport... birth certificate... police certificates, etc. She then asked us for photos and asked my fiancee a couple questions (she didn´t talk to me) like how we met, where we met, about the times I came to Peru, what his ocupation was. Then she told us to sit down and wait. We were prepared to wait an hour or so, but they called us after only 10 minutes! This time to door 15. I was nervous because I´ve heard stories abou... read complete review
